Home, Commercial, and Environmental Inspector

Rick Bates started HomeInspectors.solutions in 1987 and rapidly advanced to the Western NY area’s leading home inspector after earning his NYS Home Inspector License.  He is  also a Commercial and Environmental Inspector, a litigator and a private home building consultant. He has helped provide training materials for new home inspectors in the area and was the president of STAHI, the Souther Tier Association of Home Inspectors, for many years.

In the fall of 2020 Rick Bates retired temporarily from the home inspection business and appointed Paul Peck as a temporary replacement in running HomeInspectors.solutions.

Paul had a passion for excellence in everything he did and we were proud to have him represent us until April, 2022. Rick has now returned to the driver’s seat and Paul has returned to his old job.
